April Meeting
We enjoyed a nice tour of Compucol in Colville, hosted by John Butorac. Compucol designs and manufactures control circuits for large produce storage facilities worldwide which controls the refrigeration and humidity needed for long term storage of produce.
Mike (KD7IBE) has met with the Wal-Mart managers again and has informed the club that we are granted permission to set up a display and “Show and Tell” booth at the Wal-Mart in Colville. More info. to follow soon.
Field Day: June 26-27. It is my hope to have a meeting of anyone who wishes to help with the set up and supply of goods and / or radio gear in the next couple of weeks so we can formulate a plan for the setup and operation of Field Day. After which we can proceed with the necessary tasks needed to reach our goals for this years event. The meeting will be discussed and planned at the regular Club meeting. (if the club meeting is short enough perhaps we can discuss Field Day then)
Lisa is taking Volunteers for this year’s Tiger Tri-Athalon on July 11th. Contact Lisa if you can help.
Don’t forget Breakfast a Geronimos in Springdale on the First Sat. of each Month at 9:00 AM.
Mike (KD7IBE) is going to give us a tour of the Hearth and Home Plant (Formerly Aladdin Stoves). On Friday the 21st of May at 6:00 PM. The plant is located just north of Colville and across the Hwy from Wal-Mart/Super One area. After the tour we will have our regular Club meeting there at Hearth and Home.
