Here is the Northeast Region Radio Shop. Yes that IS the shop! Don't let the cushy appearance fool you, this rig WORKS for a living and has been my "home away from home" for many days at a time. The van is equipped with a full complement of test equipment like a service monitor, 40 amp bench power supply and desoldering station. In addition, I carry a library of service manuals to cover all the radios I service along with a supply of replacement parts adequate to repair about 98% of the failures in the field. There is a separate DC power system for the bench and an 800 watt inverter for AC powered items (drills, lighting, etc.). And, yes, that IS a closet behind the driver's seat.
